Visas are divided depending on the type and single and multiple-entry visas are issued.
Business visa – “ K visa” is for foreign citizens and stateless persons and their family members who have visited the Republic of Tajikistan for the following purposes:
1) Participation in business negotiations, meetings, symposiums and forums, conferences, tenders, auctions, exhibitions, fairs, cultural and sporting events;
2) To conclude contracts with legal entities and individuals of the Republic of Tajikistan, establish joint ventures, study the domestic market, internship and provide consulting services.
Work visa – “M visa” is for foreign citizens and stateless persons following or staying in the Republic of Tajikistan for the purpose of employment, as well as the families of the listed persons.
Investment visa – “ C visa” is for the head of companies and enterprises that are actually involved in investing in the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as their family members.
A single-entry visa grants a foreign citizen and a stateless person the right to enter and exit the Republic of Tajikistan once during the period specified in the visa.
Multiple–entry visa – grants the right to enter and leave the Republic of Tajikistan several times (more than 2 times) or to leave and enter the Republic of Tajikistan within the period specified in the visa.
An electronic visa is issued only once.
